My husband works at home. He has a laptop that he can use anywhere in the house to do his computer work, but he really likes the peace and quiet of his study. There’s less commotion since the kids aren’t allowed in there. The only problem is that he doesn’t have much office furniture. I decided that I would look at some office chairs for him as a surprise for his birthday. He’s been using a stool in his home office, so I figured executive chairs would be more comfortable for him.
I checked the office furniture section of a local office supply store, and was surprised to see that the office chairs ranged in price from very, very cheap to very, very expensive. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t want to spend a lot, but I knew I wanted him to be comfortable. I finally looked at the executive chairs and went with a mid-priced one.
Out of all the office furniture he has now, his chair is his favorite piece. I’m really glad that I decided to look at the office chairs instead of buying him a new desk or desk lamp. He needs those things, too, but being comfortable is the most important thing. I would recommend executive chairs to anyone who is trying to furnish a home office.
