1 Orders

Any contract shall consist of the buyer’s order and the seller’s acceptance thereof. Any order accepted by the seller shall be subject to the seller’s conditions of sale and no other conditions shall apply unless expressly agreed in writing by the seller.

2 Prices

All prices are in sterling and exclusive of VAT that will be charged at the prevailing rate. The seller reserves the right to change the published price of any item at any time.

3 Delivery Charges

Quoted prices include Free Delivery for orders of 5+ chairs (not including accessories) anywhere within the UK Mainland excluding the Highlands and Islands.

A delivery charge of £9.95 per order will be charged for all orders of less than 5 chairs to One UK destination excluding the Highlands and Islands.

For deliveries outside this area and overnight deliveries where requested, a carriage charge will be levied. (Please contact our customer service department for charges)

4 Payment Terms

Method of payment is by credit or debit card via our fully secure online checkout facility. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Delta, Solo, JCB and VISA Electron.

5 Point of Delivery

In accordance with normal transport practices all goods will be delivered to the goods inwards department or reception on the ground floor and off-loading facilities must be provided by the customer.

Please note that a signed consignment note constitutes delivery of goods. Please check that the number of boxes received, corresponds with the delivery note before signing. It is your responsibility to inspect goods upon delivery.

The couriers are obliged to wait while you inspect the goods. If the courier will not wait, please accept and sign for as "Damaged".

6 Delivery Time

Every effort is made to ensure next day delivery on all of our products.

Times are quoted in good faith but shall be non binding. To facilitate a prompt delivery all despatches will be made direct from the point of manufacture.

The seller shall not be liable for any losses incured by the buyer or any other person as a result of any delay in the delivery of the goods or any part of the order for any reason whatsover.

7 Guarantee

All goods supplied by Office Chairs Showroom come with a 2-5 year manufacturer's component guarantee as defined in the seat specification table on the website. This guarantee, subject to normal wear and tear, covers structural defect. All upholstery is guaranteed for 2 years.

Goods subjected to fair wear and tear, misuse, defective maintenance, alteration or modification are excluded from this guarantee. Goods covered are subject to single shift working only. In no case shall the liability of the seller hereunder exceed that of the actual manufacturer of the particular goods or parts thereof.

Office Chairs Showroom will provide the buyer with such information as is required to claim under the manufacturer's guarantee. The buyer will arrange & pay for returned goods using a fully insured courier service this can be arranged buy us if required. In the event of a claim, please contact our customer service department.

All goods to be returned in original boxes & packaging.

In the event of a damaged or faulty component and to provide an efficient service to the buyer, Office Chairs Showroom will in the first instance, arrange with the manufacturer to provide a replacement component.

8 Technical description and Date

Such descriptions whilst given as a guide, in good faith, are subject to alteration by the seller without notice. In particular all weights and dimensions are approximate only. All maximum load capacities stated are for evenly distributed loads only.

All swatches on www.office-chairs-showroom.com are as accurate a representation of the actual fabrics used. Leather is a natural material and therefore grain and texture of the leather used in manufacture will vary slightly from the swatches.

9 Consequential loss

The seller shall not be liable to the buyer for any consequential loss or damage (whether for loss or profit or otherwise) or costs or expenses or their claims for consequential loss whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the goods.

10 Claims

Notification of non-delivery must be made in writing within 7 days of receipt of goods date and for shortages or damages within 3 days of receipt of goods. Claims that fall outside these dates cannot be accepted by the seller.

11 Returned Goods

Unwanted goods will be accepted back for credit only with the express permission of Office Chairs Showroom. Please contact us for instructions on point of delivery.

Goods must be returned in their original packaging, unused, unassembled and in a resalable condition. Credit shall not be given for goods received by us damaged.

The buyer shall unless otherwise stated be responsible for the cost of the return carriage of all goods returned which shall be at the risk of the buyer until actual receipt of the goods to Office Chairs Showroom. Proof of return delivery will remain with the buyer. A restocking fee of 20% will apply to all items returned.
