I Wanted to See My Whole Office, So I Bought a Swivel Chair
I always watched those movies where the boss was turned around
in his chair and when the client came in her turned around. It
made him look so important in his Executive Office Chair, that
you respected him immediately.
When I started to work in an office I knew that I wanted a nice
chair. I know it might sound silly, but I needed something that
made me feel important. Of coarse the office came with a Desk
Chair, but it was stationary. I could not move around in it at
all, and I just did not feel comfortable.
I was going to stay at this job for a long time so I decided to
invest in a nice Swivel Chair. This allowed me to see my whole
office without even getting out of my chair, not to mention it
was the most comfortable chair I have ever sat on.
Finding the chair was easy, in fact my company had a bunch of
office furniture booklets that they ordered from at discounted
prices. Being an employee entitled me to getting a great
discount, so that was an extra bonus I was not aware of.
After a few months at the job I realized that this chair made a
big difference. It is crazy how important I felt just because of
the chair I had. Not to mention that I worked harder and am on
my way to a promotion.
